Plein Air Painting with Maria Josenhans

This workshop will take place exclusively outdoors and each day we will meet at a different location on the North Shore. This class is designed for those who have either taken a class with me before or have some experience painting outdoors.

Date: April 21,22 & 24, 2018 (that’s a Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday) 10am-3pm (rain or shine!)

Location: North Vancouver

Costs: $375.00 plus GST

More Information:

The focus of this workshop is shape. Looking at objects and the landscape as shapes versus thinking about objects in terms of what they actually are. In thinking about shape we will also consider how this relates to the overall balance of our composition and our ability to simplify our ideas about what we see…and what we want to say about what we see. We will also endeavor to apply this mindset to color.
