“Phoenix Art Workshop is pleased to present the 5th annual Steveston Grand Prix of Art, September 20th, 2014. Last year’s Grand Prix celebrated Eighty-five artists painting in 30 stunning locations in Steveston.
Dozens of volunteers and local businesses contributed to the success of our event.
The art race of the year kicks off Saturday, September 20th with the results being displayed at Britannia Heritage Shipyard’s Sunday, September 21 through September 28 from noon till 5pm.”*

Register at the following, grandprixofart.ca/register/ It’s a fabulous event. There is more information as well on the facebook page. The event has breakfast and lunch included and they had a wonderful band playing in the afternoon while all the art was being judged. There are so many volunteers to help with transporting the artists to the various venues and to assist in registration on site. Last year’s weather was mixed, but the event was setup with tents everywhere to ensure all the artists were well looked after!
