Landscapes in oils or acrylics: Friday evening August 14 through Sunday morning August 16th plein air retreat at beautiful Hidden Cove Lodge on Vancouver Island with award-winning Instructor Teresa Knight. $490 includes 2 nights accommodation (2 people sharing a room with en suite bathroom), breakfasts, a dinner at the lodge and all instruction. Welcome to Kootenay Lake – Artist Retreat!

Nestled 300 ft from the lake shore, we have access to breathtaking scenery right at the door step. Each day, we will explore a different location along the lake.

Through a series of exercises we will explore plein-air painting techniques that enable us to capture the important elements of a landscape in a short period of time. While doing so we will learn to create paintings with impact by focusing on value sketches and design.
